Welcome to Longhill Flower Farm

Hi There!

I’m Grace, Co-Owner of Longhill Flower Farm, along with my husband, Malachi. We started the farm in 2024 on 6 acres in Newburg, WI. It was a long time coming. It had been a dream of mine to farm since I was young, and Malachi also wanted to work and live off a small plot of land from a younger age. It took a bit of convincing that flowers were the best option, but once he was on board with the idea, we got straight to work.

Clearing our small field was hard work, especially with a baby in tow, but already it has been so rewarding to have our hands and feet in the dirt. We love growing beautiful flowers for our wonderful customers, and can’t wait to see what each new season brings. We’d love for you to join us on this journey and to meet you at the farmer’s market or a flower pop-up at a local coffee shop.

Our Mission

We believe in working with nature, not against it. This means that we don’t use pesticides, but instead welcome a field full of buzzing pollinators. While we aren’t organic certified, we do use organic and sustainable growing practices like cover cropping and wood mulch instead of plastic row covers. We want to benefit our land, not harm it. We also want you to feel good about the flowers you have in your home, knowing you can breathe in their smell deeply without wondering what kind of chemicals you might be inhaling.

We are also strong proponents of supporting local farms and small businesses, rather than importing from overseas. Most of the cut flowers sold at grocery stores are imported out of season from hot houses in South and Central America. These farms often have subpar safety conditions for workers, and are detrimental to their local environment due to the amount of pesticides they use. We believe that you and God’s beautiful creation deserve better than that.

Our other main mission is simply to add beauty to the lives of the people around us. We believe that beautiful things shouldn’t just be reserved for special occasions, but instead can be added to our everyday lives to bring us hope and joy. I know I always feel a little more cheerful when I look at a fresh vase of flowers on my kitchen counter.

By purchasing flowers from Longhill Flower Farm, not only are you getting beautiful blooms for yourself, you're also directly supporting a small local farm, and supporting sustianable and healthy agriculture and floral practices. And for that, we give you a double-thumbs-up and a hearty thank you!
